Individual Therapy
Experience transformative healing and personal growth through individual therapy sessions. A safe, supportive, and confidential space is provided for you to explore your challenges. In individual therapy, my approach is tailored to meet your unique needs, fostering a collaborative and trusting relationship.
My speciality areas include trauma and PTSD resolution, anxiety and panic, depression, grief and loss, work-related stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, MVAs, chronic pain, insomnia, life changes, self esteem, spiritual integration, and existential issues. Some of the modalities I work with include Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, mindfulness, DBT, CBT, positive psychology, and biofeedback.
The standard fee is $220 CAD for one full hour. If you have health insurance, all or part of this may be covered. Direct billing is provided for most Insurance plans. A sliding scale is available for people without insurance or financial means. I can also direct bill to WCB, CAF, VAC, RCMP, the Non Insured Health Benefits plan (NIHB), Bigstone Health Benefits, and IRS RHSP (for anyone with a relative who has been in a residential school).
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy involves providing a safe and supportive environment for partners to address relationship issues and enhance their connection. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a therapeutic approach that focuses on attachment dynamics and enhancing emotional connections within relationships by helping partners understand and express their underlying emotions. By addressing these emotions, EFT aims to create stronger bonds, improve communication, and foster greater intimacy between partners. Additionally, focusing on self-regulation and communication skills helps partners manage conflicts constructively and build healthier relationship dynamics.
The standard fee is $220 CAD for one full hour, or $330 for 90 minutes. All or part of this may be covered by insurance. Direct billing is possible for most Insurance plans as well as for WCB, CAF, VAC, RCMP, NIHB, Bigstone, and IRS RHSP.
Group Therapy
Group therapy offers a unique environment that encourages interpersonal connections and shared insights. In these sessions, participants find a sense of belonging and understanding as they navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, or interpersonal difficulties.
Groups provide a valuable space for individuals to share their experiences, receive feedback, and gain diverse perspectives. The collaborative nature of the group setting promotes empathy, self-reflection, and the development of coping strategies.
